Jeremy Ray Borders started his career with great success making his tv debut on the piano at age 10 and then continued to win 1st or 2nd in every competition he entered until the age of 18. For High school he received a full-ride scholarship from the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, then received additional scholarship to the University of Houston where he double majored in Piano Performance and Composition, studying with world-renown artists.
In 2009, Jeremy won the American Protege competition in NYC where he was asked to play in Carnegie Hall twice, among other concert opportunities and a special prize from the Townsend International competition in New York. He placed first in the International Model and Talent Association NYC for acting, 2nd in singing and was scouted by top model agents from NYC, LA, Greece and Paris. His acting credits for Film/TV/Stage include Law and Order, Ugly Betty, The New Yorker, Step Up 3D, Just Wright, My House and writing Broadway-style productions for theaters over 1000 seats large that he wrote.
In 2014, he was given the opportunity to tour with Carnival Cruise Lines performing his own show for 2 years.
In 2016, Jeremy Ray wrote, directed, produced, scored and acted in his first feature length 120 minute movie called 12 Cuckoos, currently in post production and set to release in the near future.
At age 11 he toured with his mother's music ministry playing piano as she shared her testimony through speaking and song about how she was healed of cancer. Since 2003 he’s stayed heavily involved with 6 churches, 3 of which served as the worship leader full-time at 3 churches, 1 that reached 40,000+ people via TV/Radio & media globally.
In 2017, Jeremy’s first crossover single ‘I Am Your Clay’ was released on radio regionally, he performed mainstage at Big Ticket Festival, one of America’s largest Christian music festivals and adjudicated for the festival’s Battle of the Band competition, where the winner was awarded a major record deal.
As of 2018, Jeremy is working with national and global entertainment company Lime Entertainment out of London/NYC for music/tv/film/cruise gigs. He's also now on the Approved Artist Roster for the Arts Commission of South Carolina to perform in schools nationally and is connected with the PLAY Foundation of South Carolina to help promote the arts in schools.
Jeremy is a cross-over artist working in both secular and religious industries at the same time. The goal is to go where God says go and love on people.
